The Digby Pottery

Phyllis produced all of the car plans that were used in building the latter models,  but as we neared the time of retirement we slowed down on commissions for new automobile projects, preferring to return to older projects, that already had drawings and master patterns available.  This gave Phyllis the chance to fulfill a childhood ambition to learn the art of pottery making.

After acquiring all of the necessary equipment, in a job lot fire sale, including a number of books on the art and craft as well and the scientific side, she set about teaching herself how to work clay.

The following pieces are testament to her artistic skills and endeavors over a period of about ten years, this being only a small portion of what she produced in our Digby days - 1980 to 2003.
