The Falls of Clyde - the Iron Hull

Part hull sample built to prove the tools so far created -  The Frame Maker built in high grade aluminium on which to form each frame directly from the cross sectional drawing did not work in it’s current form. So I had to resort to Plan-B and create a full half model of the hull which I did in such a way that each MDF tile would represent an individual numbered frame.  These were then drilled from a drill jig, rough cut to shape, then bolted together for final shaping to match profiles from the ship’s hull.  Finally the centre section of 40 frames was removed for the next stage.
