The Falls of Clyde - the Iron Hull

The stem of the Falls of Clyde, showing the rivet heads on the out side  - hardly visible - and inside - what I am aiming to reproduce on the model. The second machine, designed to produce single heads, has a double cam leaver action, allowing for a light pressure on the leaver at the back to produce a rived head on plate brass at the front, mounted on a table provided with clamps and micro adjustment. The guillotine for cutting large sheets of brass, to plate sizes, is also provided with a double cam leaver action and adjustable distance stop.
