Here we complete the front and rear suspension with a mixture of castings and turned and fabricated parts.  When one sees the complete assembly it can be appreciated the value of the investment castings for accuracy and time saving on producing several models of a particular subject on this chassis.  The rear axle/gear box is bolted in place and the drive shaft to it is a sliding fit with a short length inside the gear box, so that it can be later pulled forward to engage the rear of the engine bell housing.
